NRAO Community Day at the University of Maryland: December 15, 2011

NRAO is organizing a number of community days to inform the scientific community of the current status of its telescopes (ALMA, EVLA, VLBA, GBT). There will be presentations on how to write proposals for these telescopes and how to observe with them. Participants will have the opportunity to try out observation preparation tools and the post-processing system CASA while NRAO staff will be available for consultation.

The Laboratory of Millimeter-wave Astronomy at the University of Maryland is hosting one of these events on Dec 15, 2011.
